Love.

Friend, God loves you! I want for you to hear his heart as you read this post. God loves you so much that he sacrificed his Son, Jesus, as a pathway for you to avoid becoming spiritually dead, destroyed, and totally separated from him due to your sins. He sent his Son on a mission to save you from the potential consequences of your own sins and redeem you back to him.

“For this is how God loved the world: he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3: 16 & 17 (NLT)

The Apostle Paul’s description of God’s love for you is pinned in Romans chapter 8 verses 38 and 39:

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (NLT)

Not only did God sacrifice and send his only Son to express his love, but he also provided revelation to Paul of how great his love is for you. Did you know that nothing that God created can separate you from his love? Friend, absolutely NOTHING! Your past cannot separate you from his love. Your current condition cannot separate you from his love. Your sins cannot separate you from his love. No power in hell, in the sky, or on the earth can separate you from his love. NOTHING!

With that being said, what is causing you to feel unworthy of the love worth sacrificing the Son for? How are you not worthy of experiencing the fullness of the only love that does not waver based on conditions? I am referencing the same love that you were created in the likeness of. For the Bible declares in 1 John chapter four verse 16 that God is love. And according to Genesis chapter one verse 27, you were created in his image and likeness. Thus you were not only created out of God’s love for you but also possessing a measure of God’s love. Your very existence is an expression of his love. So what have you heard, read, or experienced that is causing you to believe that God does not love you? If you have an answer to that question, have an honest moment with yourself. After that, have an honest conversation with God. My friend, you are deserving of a love worth dying for! TTYL!
